What does an MSS do?
We monitor and manage our customers’ security assets. Some are reactive support, others have a proactive approach to work, depending on the contract mode. In short, we are an extension of the client security team.
Why? Often companies do not have a good workforce, skilled workforce at home to manage the complexity of their technology park, so they need a security provider to do this.
What context does MSS fit into?
With numerous contact surfaces, attack holes, the exposure is very large. It is not enough to have a Firewall, IPS, AV, Anti-DDoS and think you are safe. Cybercrime has been growing at astronomical scales and becoming professional as an industry, data only corroborates this new security ecosystem.
